With the iPhone model 6s and above (including the new iPhone 7), Apple introduced a technology known as “3D Touch”, which is activated when you forcefully press an object on the screen. For example, when you press down on an app icon on your device’s home screen, you’ll expose any 3D Touch “Actions” (or shortcuts) supported by the app.

In Rego 2.5.1, we’ve added support for three such actions—creating a new place, showing the All Places screen, and showing your Collections screen.

In addition, version 2.5.1 also fixes a long-time, tricky little bug that was causing the app to crash when accessing the device’s camera under certain conditions.

We hope you enjoy the new version—and as always, appreciate your support in spreading the word about Rego, and leaving reviews on the App Store!
