The Rego Guide
There are currently two ways in which you can export data from Rego:
- Dropbox backup — You can use the Dropbox backup feature, to backup your Rego data. The exported data — including a JSON file containing your locations and meta data, and all your photos in a folder called “photos” — can then be found in Apps/Rego within your Dropbox.
- Collection export — From the Collection Picker window, you can tap the information icon “i” on the collection, from where you’ll find a link to export that collection’s data in a variety of formats — including KML, GPX and a native “Rego” format that can be imported into another copy of Rego. In collection exports, only one photo can be include, i.e. a place’s thumbnail.
